Stunning Very Large Swinging Mystery Clock
This is a very rare swinging mystery clock (not to be mistaken with the more common examples of the classic Diana small swinging arm clocks), which stands over a hundred centimetres in height.
The statue of the clock is entitled "La Victorie", and it was designed by the well-listed artist "Emile Bruchon".
Emile Bruchon was a student of the famous "Mathurian Moreau".
Emile Bruchon was born in the 19th century in Paris.
The clock is attached to the arm of the statue by a set of suspension springs in a cross shape.
The movement is beautifully encased in a sphere shape made out of brass, following the same patina as the rest of the statue.
The functionality of this clock, for the watcher, appears to be mysterious, but the secret is a small pendulum that swings in perfect harmony inside the sphere. Still, it is always found in a constant fight with the longer pendulum, whose sphere is located on the inferior part of the long arm.
